So yeah i'm sitting in starbucks taking a little break from job hunting before school starts, I'm really begining to get back to my old self again and it feels REALLY good, I mean you have no idea, I was becoming totally incapable of conversation or intellegent tought in any capacity, I think it might have been working at Century for so lone =D but I feel more like my artist, expressive, friendly, now a little vain self. I feel more like the guy who can connect with the randome people he meets, as opposed to the introverted silent person I was slipping into. It's funny, it's like my social skills need exercise or something. As I stare out this window watching the cars drive by I can't help but think about the people inside them, where they might be going, what they might be doing, or even why they own that partcular car. It's amazing what small things make good stories, because even though we all have a story about having a car, they are never the same, they all differ just slightly, but enough to be totally unique in their own light. I think the stories that we see as simple and unnoteworthy are better than they seem. Just like people who seem one way at first may be more than just what you've seen, we sometimes forget about the other sides of people that complete the picture of who they are, the different sides and lights of their personalities, we foret about what makes them human, we let them stay as half enigmas, also called stereotypes. And it's to easy to become one of these ourselves cause lets face it some of them are pretty glamourous, some of them appeal to the masses but in becoming on of these we lose a vital peice of ourselves that make us who we are, it's the difference between the easy way and the right way only this way is so subtle you have to REALLY think about it to change anything. I think it might be a type of defense mechanism because if you become something else then it's not you people can criticise or hurt, they are attacking the false image you portray, even if you become the social bitch that's still and image for people to attack because they don't know you. But that is also the drawback they don't really know you and no-one ever will if you stay in your social cast. It confines you to a set of actions or a set of things you can say, and by having these boundaries you also confine yourself to what you think and before you know it you've become the social cast you've put up for protection and then people really are attacking you and your defense becomes the person you no longer are. Damn I am long winded sometimes =D I also think another thing that is undervalued by most of our generation is the older things and people, we are alway seeking the new and interesting we forget about the old and interesting, amazing things, the things that inspired what we have and see now, things that amazing are being forgotten which is really kind of sad. Hehehe I have a tendency to over analyze my surroundings sometimes, that's all this blog was just me sitting in starbuck and analyzing what I saw around me. You should try it and write it!
